PPC Broad VS Phrase examples.

After doing some searching I would like a bit of clarification as I;m a bit confused about phrase and exact matches.

Say I wanted to search for apartments in london

and my keyword for my ad is "apartments in london"

Exact match would be:

Apartments in london

Would a search for "red apartments in london" also show up on my exact or will adding anything else to it nullify the exact match? What about "london in apartments" yield exact matches?

Exact "apartments in london" will be search for "apartments in london" only and nothing else
Phrase "apartments in london" will match broader "red apartments in london" and "apartments in london and bucharest"

 

Awesome! would phrase match also show if it's out of order? Like "in london apartments"? or would that fall under broad?

 

that would be a broad search (without quotes)
