I have been analyzing for several weeks across all the major PPC (Adwords and YSM) different keywords, ads and landing pages related (and not related, outside the box) to dating topics. I've come to a conclusion...there are just a few affiliates who promote dating services (through simple one page offers or comparison chart). I guess these affiliates have special, higher commissions, that's why they can compete with all other ads that belong to the top and small dating services. And what about those dating services: they promote themselves and simply don't worry about advertising expenses. Their ads are mostly listed in the top 8 positions and are totally unrelated to searched queries. Also these services use mostly one landing pages for all keywords/ adgroups.. of course these landing pages cannot be relevant to all searched queries (keywords). Just type some dating (maybe some other industry keywords: payday, health..) related keywords (long and short tail) into main SE. You will see the left column (free results pages) contains a lot of affiliate's webpages but right and top column (paid results) -about 95% just dating services: singlesnet, true, perfectmatch ...and other top and small dating companies. So why there are so many folk (ppc "gurus", bloggers, etc.) who claim we promote dating (and other hot topics) and earn hundreds ...thousands per day through PPC by being affiliate?! Where are you, where are your ads/websites/landing pages? I don't ask to show me your places. It's just my conclusion! This post refers to all succesful ppc affiliate gurus who posted earlier here at digitalpoint their success and bloggers who also call themselves as super affiliates.
