I currently run a ppc camapign for one of my client who is going to start an affiliate programme. My client has asked me what my thoughts are re the benefits/disadvantages of letting Affiliates running their own PPC campaign: - Inflation of CPC/Cost per Sale - No control of brand bidding - Increase of Share of Voice - Incremental sales Any ideas????
The benefits are certainly like with any other affiliate program, the main one being that the affiliates will be growing your client's exposure in the marketplace. I am sure that the benefits outweigh the risks which is why so many affiliate programs allow PPC traffic to their offers.
