Just wondering if you can promote your amazon store via pay per click or if that's against terms of service. i know you can't direct link but if you have a product in your store you can still bid on that product keyword right??

Promoting Amazon products using PPC is not allowed.

You can promote amazon products via ppc. Amazon just says no direct PPC marketing.

What you need to do is create a wordpress landing page that promotes the amazon product. Then use PPC marketing on that ;)

I would personally suggest against using PPC with amazon until you know how to do PPC and get low priced clicks due to the fact amazon pays very low and you may only be getting $0.30 a sale.

I would suggest you read the recently revised terms. It explains everything you need to know regarding PPC and referrals. It's worth spending time on just to be sure you're not only wasting your money, but your precious time as well.

    Good luck

in my opinion it is a waste of money. Amazon pays very low and doesn't allow direct PPC traffic.

Before Amazon banned PPC, I used to advertise them via PPC and my average earning per click was only 1 cent - not enough to justify the ad expense.

I know you can't directly promo Amazon products with PPC but need to have a site or landing page. What about Astore ? do those taken as a site or as landing pages ?

You could promote via a landing page but Amazon has low comissions of 4%-6% so it would be pretty hard to stay profitable! I'd stick to organic traffic

I personally think anyone actively promoting Amazon products through paid means is wasting their money. The trick to making it to have organic traffic, and lots of it. Giving that the referral fees are quite minimal, your earnings will never justify your investment.

So, don't spend any penny on promotion.

amazon products/astore/etc. can not be standalone sites. Must always always have a landing page.

Another trick would be to have a nice landing page and run a PPC for that product and drive traffic to your own site. Then it's left for you to make your pitch good enough for your visitors to click through to Amazon site.

I use it myself, but it's worth mentioning that you have to be careful not to directly drive traffic to Amazon with PPC as you won't get any referral on any purchase.

Here's a little illustration: PPC -> Your site -> Amazon.

    Good luck

That's right PPC to your site, and from your site to Amazon. Is that simple.

Addition. your lading page must have only thing that you promote.
Don't use homepage or page that have more subject.

Important. Make link in your landing page with Amazon Only.
Don't have link to other like Adsense ect.
