    I always find that I get a fairly quick response with SEO on Wordpress Blogs on Yahoo. However, I love a well targeted PPC or PPV campaign on Yahoo....

    I would love to hear more about conversion rates, my client is in the travel agency business and likes PPC but now wants to start organic SEO and I am trying to pitch my services, but I need link building resources too, his competitors have 200 backlinks, he has 3!

    My vote is for organic seo hands down. It takes a lot more work, but the payoff in the end is a LOT greater.

    When starting out you need to test what works - and the quickest way to do this is by PPC.
    That way you can almost instantly test whether to invest the time and effort in SEO - and it doesn't need to cost so much.
    Otherwise you can spend weeks of work and months waiting before finding you have wasted your time on SEO targetting keywords / niches or markets that may not make you much of a return.
    Of course if you then find or create an offer that converts profitably, you can carry on buying PPC traffic while SEO builds your free traffic

    SEO - Free of cost ( it takes time to get result )
    PPC - Paid ( fast traffic )

    to talk about real facts PPC is only for big business and for a medium company organic is the best and long lasting as PPC will end up with budget at the same time but if you spent money on organic it will long last :)

    It depends on your budget.If you want to do for some particular time then PPC is the best way but if you keep for long term then SEO is the best.

    SEO & PPC both are helpful for fast search result. But PPC is chargable and cost affected for beginner. SEO is cost cutting, long term & effected result for your. But what you want to do is last on yourself. Thanks!!!:confused:

    SEO doesn't last now, the game keeps changing requiring contant change with your approach, neither is better, both can be a waste of time and money, if your product/service/site is poor then seo and ppc wont matter.

    Most of the people who replied in this thread wont have even tried PPC and probably never will.

    PPC is a paid method of advertising and you have to pay always when your advertisement display while in case SEO you need not to pay always you have to optimize your site and it will display always without any payment.
