So i am guessing there are a couple of us here who have been in the PPC game for a while now, what tips of the trade can everybody share with us when making ads?
For one thing: be VERY familiar with their Terms of Service. My best tip though is to gain Google Adwords Accreditation as fast as you can. This will do at least 2 things: make you less likely to be tempted by scam-type products promising to make you an Adwords whizzo overnight. And it should make you money. I myself was banned from Adwords before I could take my own advice but a friend of mine made a lot from it following that plan. The training is free. Goodluck.
The most important thing to remember when creating ads is to make sure that your keyword, your ad and your landing page are all related. You want good click-through rates so that your Quality Score goes up, but if your ad comes up with an unrelated search because your keywords are set to "broad match" and your ad is vague, the clicks you get will most likely increase your bounce rate, which is not a good thing. Play around with your match types if you are seeing high bounce rates and focus on relevant landing pages and you should get off to a good start.
