PPC advertising right to hoplinks?

Allright I tryed this once before with no success, I have an account at miva.com and made an ad and placed a click bank hoplink as the target link. I did not put a page of my own up.

Is that legal with miva and clickbank? Has anyone tryed that before? Any success with it? I tryed two or three different ads putting 20 bucks as the limit to spend. I did get clicks and page impressions but no sales!

I am skeptical to place more money into this method because I have 60 bucks invested so far with ZERO return.

Are their any other methods that are really cheap to do? I checked my bank account balance on line and their was a big picture of dog poo with a dollar sticking out of the top. I'm sure that can't be good.

Why you didn't get a sale might not have been the fact that you were direct linking with a hoplink, but perhaps shitty keywords, shitty ads not attracting buyers, shitty products.

I don't think I have ever made a sale simply using my hoplink as the destination url though.

Anyone who makes a profit from the old Google adsense........etc... method is more than lucky.

That worked 8 years ago, not now. why?? I don't know.

Build some good landing pages and try to find good products that have bad organic placement, If someone is looking for a "hand cart" for example they usually take the organic listings before any side placement adsense type ads, but if you can put your ppc ads on top or a page ahead of any decent organic listing you'll get the serious buyer first.

You can acheive this with a few of new clickbank products. the research and time does ad up though.

Theirs just so many damn products to choose from. Some of them look good and some are just junk. I know I tryed a World of Warcraft gold guide. I ran the ad and got a shit load of clicks the first day but nothing became it, I read my ad and their was no hint of buying anything. Just a way to get alot of gold. I modifyed the ad to hint at the fact the their was cost involved. Clicks slowed down but no buyers.

I tryed the satellite TV cable into your computer deal. Same thing my ad generated alot of clicks at first then I modifyed the ad to hint at purchaseing something. Clicks slowed down but still no buyers.

Should I hint at the fact the you have to buy something right from the start? To only attract people with money to spend?
