I'm sure it's been asked or answered a million times, but without this question there would be little reason for this category right ;)

I've only ever advertised with AdWords. I'm looking to some PPC (possibly PPM) with others. I checked out adbrite, but it actually hurts my eyes to view their website.

What have you had sucess with?

    (the market is technology/gaming)

    Greg-

Check out this resource: PPC Search Engines. Consider also what CPC you are targeting and what your budget is (I have found adbrite to be extremely cheap).

I found it difficult too to buy ads from adbrite. Imagine you have to browse to the thousands of sites just to buy one ad...:(

    Hi Greg,

I've had good success with Allfeeds.com, and their CPC is typically lower than their competitors, especially the "Big Three". They have pretty extensive anti-fraud measures in place, as well. You can click on the link in my signature if you'd like more information.

    HTH,

You wouldn't happen to be affiliated in any way with allfeeds.com, would you?

I'm an Allfeeds affiliate publisher. Is that what you mean?

I suggest you use the clicksor, 7search and peackclick. Also additional you can setup also as affiliate with ebay, amazon and display your contextual links based on the words searched.

In addition to Adwords, I've used Overture, MIVA, and 7search. MIVA and 7search simply did not convert and Overture has too many shady parnterships with spyware/adware pushers and sites that have zero content and are nothing but a list of sponsored links.

Adwords is the most expensive, but I guess there is a reason for that - it works, plain and simple.
