I have a friend whom i need to pay $170. I've asked him to open a Paypal account and i'll be paying him soon after. The problem is, he needs money to be transferred to his 'Corporation Bank' account, he doesn't have online/net banking available/enabled. Can he still transfer this money from PP to his bank account without any problems? Am a noob in banking related, help would be appreciated
Yes, i do think he can still accept money in his account - but just be sure does paypal supports transfer to corporation bank - if yes then it will be easy - no hassles Hope it helps...
As long as bank has IFSC code he can transfer directly from paypal if he is ur friend why dont u withdraw it directly and pay him cash
HEY first ask your friend to confirm the bank account with paypal other wise when the account is not confirmed with it and he receives payment he may be asked for cc verification from paypal so let him confer or link the bank account first
Verification of indian bank account not available currently Only verification through a valid CC option is available for indian paypal account. DON.
yes you can but if u r opening a new account and immediately adding 170$'s means PAYPAL may limit your account.. Be aware!!
You can transfer funds to Bank account where the paypal acc name and bank account are same. If you want to send funds to your friends bank account from your pp acc, i say it will not be possible. You transfer funds to your bank account and pay him.
Yeah, i thought of that. Another question regarding the bank, i did some research and read at many places that PP has support for only some Indian Banks in which Corporation bank is not included. While ebay.in here says the following : Corporation bank has NEFT enabled. While a 2 year old Article from Geeklord says: Another option I have is I have a SBI account that i haven't linked to my account yet, can i link it say 'today' and transfer the money today itself with no problems on both Paypal's and SBI's side? Which do you guys recommend, taking a risk with Corporation bank or Going ahead with SBI(State Bank Of India)??
I suggest you to add your SBI account and then withdraw funds from your paypal account to your SBI account today. Don't forget to add bank account name, account number and IFSC code properly at the time of withdrawal. DON.
