    Basically, your presentation should be a narrative that is guided by your slides which should simply illustrate that points that your narrative is making. What I am saying is that you should be telling a story that the slides reinforce as opposed to standing up there reading the slides to your audience.

    "Death by Powerpoint" is a phrase that has been around for quite some time in the business world. It comes from lousy speakers putting up way too many slides, with way too much boring text, and then droning on and on for hours. Have been the victim of this more times than I care to remember.

    It is no small coincidence that these boring, lousy speakers are usually single and appear to have no social life at all.
