Powerpoint for SEO

Does anyone know if Powerpoint slides can bring you the best results in SEO?

Its just I am currently trying to optimize for "how to drive traffic to your website" and the number 1 site that comes up is a powerpoint presentation that has been saved in html

why are you using powerpoint

 

I can't say it will help any. Search engines can't even see flash, I'm 99.9% sure they can't see powerpoint slides

i am wondering why there is a powerpoint presentation ranked number one for "how to drive traffic to your website" keyword

That's not PowerPoint. Those are regular .htm files...

 

thats powerpoint saved as htm. there is an option in saveas.

what i am asking is why this is happening?

i dont think its a good idea for the sitem, but it might be good for SEO and thats what I am trying to find out

 

i will not agree for power point and flash's idea

google can't see to both so it will Not good in seo.

if u think , it will help in seo so let me know.

so its a just wasting a time , better would be time on article, classifieds and directory submission

It must be the strength/and/or number of his backlinks that's doing it. I had a quick look at the phil.com site - it looks like he offers the powerpoint presentations as an educational resource - my guess would be a few .edu links

 

When search engine crawls your site, it looks only text content and igore animation. You did not get high rank, if you use power point as html.

 

people its not powerpoint as in ppt its powerpoint in html

 

Probably because it has alot of links pointing at it. As far as google is concerned its HTML doesn't make any difference if it came from powerpoint or not.
