Aside from He-man memories (hint: "I HAVE THE POWER"), anyone tell me if any good comes from http://www.powerlinks.com. A peer brought it to my attention (he probably just wants my referral fee). I'm not buying into it, but want to give it a due diligence.

Overall, seems like bad neighborhoods to me.

I have never participated in it, although I have friends that have in the past, and ended up dropping it because of the lack of good opportunities.

I added it to a site to test it

it generated 210 msn backlinks so far, in the first month

Its probably a no-no , but then again what isn't

I think its the same thing as linkstoyou

Ive used it previously and cancelled the subscription straight away. Its full of low quality spammy type sites. They say they approve each link but thats BS.

Thanks, I was wondering. Though I find it hard to trust anything that looks like a 'Make a fortune in ten days guaranteed!!' ads.

I've used Linkmarket in the past. It seems okay, there are a few sites on there with decent PR and many that don't. You can filter the requests that get sent to you and also refuse requests to link.

I don't think there is anything really ok , or not ok about any of them

I don't know, I tried on one of my hotel affiliate sites as a test and it created 210 msn backlinks in the first month or so. Which seems pretty good for $20.00

I don't know, many people probably think my affiliate sites are "low quality spammy type sites" but hey, if it makes a profit that's good enough for me.

The powerlinks thing sort dumps links onto your site without you picking thru them, so I can see why people would have a problem with that. I wouldn't put it on my homepage.

Link market is currently my favorite link exchange program because its cheap and it has a big subscriber base.

unfortunately it doesn't automate enough of the task,

But you if you put your mind to it you can trade over 1000 links with linkmarket. Which is a decent amount.

If you have a "quality" site, the best option is linksmanager, they have the tightest quality controls, and the best software, by far.

But they are also $20 a month, and they will deny affiliate sites(unless they are really dressed up), and also they will suspend your account if you trade too many "irrelevant" links

You can also trade 1000 plus links with linksmanager.

Linkexchaned automates a lot of the task but they have a small subscriber base, like 200 sites or so, and they don't clean out the dead sites.
