Figured I'd make a thread for people to discuss the potential uses for the Cookie Search Engine. I apologize if this is the inappropriate place for this.
Well... some of the obvious uses (as shown on the default) page is things like marketshare analytics with anything that uses a cookie. Another big use would be to find cookie stuffers on affiliate programs. If you know how services track things, you can find interesting info. For example, sites that *appear* to have forced the user to click AdSense ads without them actually doing it: https://tools.digitalpoint.com/cookie-search?cookie_domain=www.googleadservices.com&name=Conversion
I was wondering about the less obvious uses for it, when I made this thread. Seems like it has the potential to solve many potential problems and give you useful and 'rare' information in the process. Perhaps a little tutorial/guide/list on the different uses/implementations for it would help many people? IE: You gave the example of using it to see if a user is forced to click AdSense ads. I doubt the majority of people knew it could be used for such a thing.
Another interesting thing you can do with it is pull up a domain and it will tell you all other domains that are associated with the same owner (that it can determine anyway). For example sites using the same AdSense or Analytic accounts. For example: https://tools.digitalpoint.com/cookie-search?domain=internetbrands.com
Anything to do with warning people of sites potentially harmful/intrusive when clicking them is useful. A cookie search toolbar would be great.
