Can you please explain your costs. It seems you are selling memberships by paypal but with 11K revenue how are you making 4K/m only. Doesnt seem you have inventory cost. So is this advertising?

 

Don't people get annoyed when they sign up and you basically tell them that they can download a thing called limewire or utorrent to get music? Your site seems to suggest they can quickly download the files from your server.

 

I haven't visited the site tdnetworks is offereing, but if what scoxy is saying is accurate, then the site is not legal.

Frankly I had a site downloadfreak.com that did the same thing. Linked to places to download all kinds of files and once it got popular I got cease and decists from Microsoft pretty quickly and my host shut me down..

I'm no legal guru so I wont pretend to know one way or the other if it's illegal or not. Honestly I'd buy it today if I hadn't experienced what I experienced in the past. For $20k I won't buy a site unless there is absolutely 0% risk of legal action.

 

Exactly. I have this amount and I have been hunting for quite some time looking for a site to invest in... but I wouldn't risk getting sued by some record company and loose everything I have.

INV: The expenses come from advertising and paying our affiliates. Also, we don't use paypal to process payments, we have our own merchant account.

scoxy: Some people do get annoyed but that isn't our fault because we provide everything they need to know about our service on our website, if they fail to read it then it's their fault if they aren't satisfied with our service.

torunforever: The reason why that site got shut down is because they didn't say anywhere on their website that sharing copyrighted material without the permission to do so is illegal. If you have a look at our legal page you will see that we mention this just like kazza, limewire and any other P2P network must do on their page to make the service "legal".

To wrap up the legal issue with our website, our attorney comfirmed with us before we launched the website that is is 100% legal. We have been online for a good year and haven't heard anything from the FTC or any music labels and our website ad has been seen well over 400 million times. Please rest assured that our website is legal and we aren't breaking any laws. There are also websites just like ours that have been in business well over three years and make over 150k/month without hearing anything from the FTC.
