BizOrigins Throws Down the Gavel on Online Auctions to Helps Users Get It Sold

    For Immediate Release
SOUTH BOSTON, Va./EWORLDWIRE/Aug. 31, 2007 --- The common play at a live auction in the 20th century echoed the call of the auctioneer - "Going for 10; 10, did I hear a 15? 15, I heard a 20, 20?" Now at the dawn of the 21st century, the Internet has transformed how business is conducted and, more specifically, how auctions are conducted. Web sites such as eBay, UBid and others have met little resistance from consumers until the unveiling todayof BizOrigins.

Because online buyers and sellers yearn for an online trading platform to not only sell products but to do it in an easy and graphical process, BizOrigins focuses on helping sell a product quickly after viewing by a wide variety of possible customers. The company's mantra, "Get it sold!" is exactly what BizOrigins.com helps users do.

A quick glimpse at the BizOrigins home page reflects an easy-to-use interface, attractive clickable images that are not over-stacked or clustered like on eBay, topped off with an simple purchase mechanism. The Web site is truly designed to give users on both ends of the transaction - buyers and sellers alike - the ultimate experience in online trading. Categories are provided for prospective buyers' convenience along with information about the contents of each category.

This Internet auction site operates with low commission rates standard with the service, avoiding the dent put in a prospective deal with high commission rates - buyers and sellers alike can hang on to their money. In addition to PayPal, customers can opt to use the user-friendly and innovative 2CheckOut system.

Future ideas planned by BizOrigins include a patented online live buyer and seller chat client to enable buyers and sellers to truly "talk" to each other before a purchase or sale respectively is made.

BizOrigins does not have any expensive reserve price fees. An added bonus: there are also no category fees, so if an item fits under multiple categories, it would be listed free of cost in all other additional categories. A major attraction is that there are no image upload fees, so sellers can upload up to two pictures for free. There are no sign up fees at all.

The best kept secret of BizOrigins is the waiving of selling fees on Wednesdays.

Potential problem for Ebay in the near future? I love ebay, but as you all know at one time there was just yahoo, now there is google. It would be interesting to see over a couple of years what happens lol.

I don't think this is a problem for eBay at all. This might be a new great place for savvy sellers and buyers which might drop some pricing that you see on ebay. However, eBay's audience is made up quite a bit by people who have the internet but don't use it very often, therefore, probably don't have headsets to talk either.

    Good concept, but not earth-shattering.

Why in the world would this be a problem for Ebay???
It uses a script called phpprobid which you can buy for 200 not really the best way to open the Ebay...
also their PR outranks them for their own name in the big G.
And I really like how they keyword wh0re the buttom of the page
The best part though is the site was founded in USA but in the top corner they have a British flag for english???
