Potential Loophole in WidgetBucks

I was excited to hear that WidgetBucks (WB) pays 10% recurring commission of our referral income. But upon a second look at their term page, I begin to ponder whether this whole thing is as good as it looks or not.

At section 8 of their Terms

So that means if we don't put the links on our site, they don't guarantee that they can track or count the referral. So that also means that it's useless to put our referral link in signature or to promote it via Adwords.

While this can be easily worked out by setting up a landing page, then there's no section in WB which allows me to enter my site details where I put my referral link on. This can be their ground on not acknowledging our referral earning later on.

    anybody can clarify this?

i think what it means is, once someone clicks on the referral link, that person has 30 days to sign up or the referral link cookie expires. However, if they do sign up within the 30 day limit of that cookie, then they will be registered as a referral, regardless of whether or not they apply the code to their website. If that is still not clear PM and I can try to break it down even more.
