funny how what my writers earn seems to be your business, and yet what you earn is none of their (or my) business. Typical arrogant SOB with too much to say and nothing to back it up. All huff and puff and no raw grunt!

Hahaha "I ain't worth the trouble" seems I have been until now!

and this comment you made earlier that I forgot to mention "With good writers you mean? The $0.70 Indian writers?"

What a racist pig you are!

I am glad you are disappearing! F*** off and go back to your miserable existence.

Well this thread melted down quick. I've been a professional writer for years and years. I write articles on the web and in the news and more. I was writing on the web before it was cool and damn near invented blogging.

I write for practice and I get paid. It's just pocket money for me but, a fair deal is a fair deal. Whenever someone comes to me with an offer of anything less than $1 per 100 words it triggers an alarm. Even $1 per 100 words is low end for sure but sometimes you need to break the ice with a client. Once things warm up you can command higher prices. It's a double-edged sword. SEO writing is both technical and artistic. It takes practice to excel in and only time tells if it's working.

Hahaha yes you are right, it did melt very quickly ;)

I totally agree with the fact that B2B $1 per 100 words is the low end of the scale, and what some people that have interjected here seem oblivious to, is the fact that I am the middleman in this particular project, and I too need to make some money. So with a client who is paying $5 per article, I am paying my own costs, and paying the writers $3. Whatever is left over is for me - call it a referral fee or contract fee.

I remember when I started writing articles, and my first professional order was from a client who wanted 160 articles plus 2 rewrites of each in one batch. There were 11 different subjects, and he wanted rewrites of all articles. When I had finished the job, it worked out that I had earned just $2.10 per article - but I was happy! I had a client who was over the moon with the results, I had banked more than $1,000 and within 2 weeks he had ordered another 330 articles.

Even with this particular client, I now charge more than that original $2.10, but my skills have proven my worth, and it is still a win-win.

I appreciate the input from someone with a clue as to what he is talking about. This place is littered with morons who think they are better than they are, and every now and again they pop up in business that doesn't concern them.
