hard to say without knowing your niche. people looking to buy a camera is likely to go to ebay where people looking to buy a used car or used patio furniture are likely to go to craigslist or kijiji. just figure out what type of client you are targeting and go from there. your clients can find your site if it ranks high for search terms or if you run a PPC campaign. aside form that, you just need to figure out where your potential clients hang around
Yep, hard to tell you where to find your potential customers, if we don't know what kind of customer youre targeting. It never hurts to improve your search engine ranking. Or develop a PPC.. Most everyone uses a search engine to find what they're looking for. Other than that i'd go to relevant forums, blogs, and sites related to your niche.
Sorry that I forgot to tell you the niche... So the niche is short linking. There are going to be free and premium accounts. They all get a ad space but the premium account's ad is much bigger. And those ads would show for 10 seconds before someone clicks on the short link.
