What's your forums amount of posts to amount of threads ratio? Mine is 5.77. I think it's pretty average.
i usually get about 300-400 post and about 150 topics per day. I recently started a new keywords so it has gone down so i expect it to go up pertty soon but thats what i average. But i'm new to all this only been doing SEO for like 3 months.
Our members have made a total of 3,735,758 posts in 387,124 threads. I'm at about 10 posts per thread average. By comparison to DP: Threads: 1,684,815 Posts: 13,278,406 That's about 9 posts here. One would speculate that a higher thread/post ratio would mean a more active site. I don't feel 5 posts per thread is average for a popular forum. Sitepoint: 8-1 Threads: 639,266, Posts: 4,496,775 Webhostingtalk 7.5-1 Total Threads: 826,886 Total Posts: 6,102,253 Go down the list here for comparison. http://www.thebiggestboards.com
For one of my forums, the the ration is 6.78 replies per thread. I also monitor, the number of posts per member = 5.33 and the number of threads per member = 0.81
I have exactly 1:1 for my newly started GIMP forum. It's just a two days old forum. For my health forum there are approx. 3 replies per thread and it's almost two months old already.
