Posts to Google+ don't pull image thumbnail

It used to be that if I posted an article from my site Pro Baseball Insider that it would pull an image from the article to use as a thumbnail for the post. It no longer does that with most articles. However, every now and then it will. I don't understand why sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Has anyone heard of this problem before and know how I might fix it?

You should paste the url in the post.

 

I have tried that and it doesn't help

 

some problem with javascript. allow few seconds for the article to load, after you have pasted the link.

 

yep, don't do it.

 

Facing the same. Don't know why and how to make everything in a similar way.

 

Just use facebook

 

It sounds like others have the same problem (not gonna lie, makes me feel a little bit better to know that I'm not alone) but it's unfortunate that no one with answers seems interested in this topic
