I believe forums are not a good idea to generate traffic because forums are not meant for site promotion that you may do when there is a section such as one in DP called site promotion. Forums are meant for discussion on issues pertaining to web. Such activities can be termed as spam and Nishi signature links are for others to know with which site you are associated with and not for promotion. Anyways everyone has got their own opinions. But my advise to olixdail will be to start working towards article and directory submissions to drive more traffic. Try to get your site ranked in search engines.
Hi There is great ways of generating a ton of traffic off of Forums (see this step by step guide for exact details). But as was already mentioned, be careful on how you go about it. Your reputation is worth more than a couple of visitors. Play it safe, learn the tricks, and master your success!
