I noted with interest here a few weeks back, that as soon as people put their sites online they get impatient for results. "That won't be me!" I said. Well it is. I can feel the clock tick tocking it's so slow. So I am posting to every one of those 2,790,000,000 forums (except submarine forums) to drive traffic to my site! Is this a good idea? Budget your time between items... Spend a few hours each night doing a couple of those things then taking a rest and the next day hit it again... No sense Killing Yourself for something that may or may not ever happen...
Posting in forums is a good way to drive traffic, but it's only one of many. Try submitting your site to website directories, and content-related articles to article directories, and you should see greater results. Sam
Only forums cannot help you to increase the traffic. Link Exchange & directory submission are also important. Of course if article submission & correct tagging is done then the page rank will definitely increase.
Although I am a great advocate of article and video marketing simply because it is free and stickable, I have to admit that most of the traffic to my make money sites comes from this and two other IM forums I am a member of - so if you think you can honestly post to every single one of the forums you have mentioned, then I reckon you should do really well - obviously make sure that the forum niche is appropriate for your website and make sure you post useful content Would love to hear how you get on Best wishes Lisa
So I am posting to every one of those 2,790,000,000 forums. Complete waste of time as I would bet 98% of these domains are PR0 not only that, most of these forums will be down and out within a year, and new forums of course will take their place. You should focus/target your posts to a limited number of high PR forums.
I wouldn't spend your time spamming forums with your link. Just slowly start advertising your site, and also keep adding GOOD content... or else.
Wow thats a huge number of forums , better just select the best ones and starting posting there , will give the same results and not drive you crazy.
I feel you need to alter your way. concentrate on high pr forums- others once a week, once a fortnight like that. Also do other things like articles,good content on site etc.
