Guys, currently I have article writers write 3 new articles per day. We are publishing all articles on our website, with a link to them from our homepage. So far most of the articles don't have a PR, but they do get indexed for the most part. Now I have heard of ezineArticles as being the best place to post your articles. Should I post our articles on there instead of posting them on our website? What's the advantages/disadvantages of posting your articles on your own blog versus posting them on ezinearticles? Cheers
You should do both, the advantage of Article Directories is from others posting your article and providing a backlink to your site. Thanks Brian
but should I post those same 3 articles both on my site and on ezinearticles? Will there be a duplicate content issue?
I post all my articles on my site or sites first. I then submit a spun or altered version to Ezine with a link back to my site. Ezine has a good PR and your article might rank well for a keyword or phrase, but you are relying on a visitor in that scenario to click thru to get your site. I've always felt it was better if they landed on my site in the first place. Just my .02 cents.
I post articles related to my blog on Ezine with a link back to my blog, not the exact same content though. A couple of my articles are already in better position in the SERPS than my blog so I think ezine really helps for exposure. They do take a while to get approved though.
duplicate content blah! same articles on same domain = a google kick to the boys! use ezinearticles and goarticles mix the two up you'll be good to go.. keep the originals on your site and on ezinearticles and goarticles, see what time does for dup content, nada in my experience, i think most dup content is a bunch of hype.. listen to what our good friend howie has to say about dup content, not much...
I always change the articles, maybe same general content, but arranged and worded differently on the my site than on ezine.
