Posting in the wrong forum?

    I started a thread in 'content creation' asking how I could get a start writing articles for pay.
    Someone replied saying that they think I posted that in the wrong category.
    Was I wrong to post that question there and if so, how to I remedy it to avoid any penalty?

    Yes you started thread in wrong category. Buy, sell, trade is not an area for discussions. When you start a thread in wrong category, use the bad post report feature to ask thread to be moved. Just click on the triangle outlined in red in right hand corner, fill out request, and submit. I will move this one.

    Thread now in copyrighting area.

    Also please don't start threads that general without first searching to see if it's been discussed already. That topic has been "done to death" over in the copywriting section. Please search there and you'll find answers to your question - don't post what amount to duplicate threads.
