My girlfriend and I have/had google adsense accounts. She has a couple of sites that generate lots of traffic and some extra revenue. Unfortunately, she made a few mistakes while setting up a new website and lost her account. Am I at risk if I were to take over her websites (say, buy them from her)? would I risk losing my account as a result of history with those that trouble site?
No you will not I had faced a similar situation earlier One of my friends had a site which was quite popular, his account got banned I already had a running adsense account I took ownership of the site, got the registrant details changed after the purchase Started running my ads on the site immediately Meanwhile contacted adsense support (on the same day i added ads) and let them know about it, also clarified that the previous owner was banned I got a reply after almost 45 days from support, they gave me a lecture on maintaining the account in good standing and not to repeat the mistakes of previous publisher I got all the payments from that site since the day i published the ads, it is four years now and that site still earns me a steady 150$ per month without any work on it from my part Try hard, but never try too hard and in the process get shot in your foot
you better know for which reason her account was banned. so mad change on website and do not repeat the mistakes. I want to let another AdSense publisher place their ads on my site. Will this create a problem for their account? Is my site disabled as well? [read this from Google adsense help] I want to let another AdSense publisher place their ads on my site. Will this create a problem for their account? Is my site disabled as well? As you know, AdSense publishers are allowed to place their ads on any site that complies with our program policies and Terms and Conditions. Please note that a publisher's account status may be separate from a specific website's compliance with our policies. However, if we determine that the other publisher's account may pose a risk to our AdWords advertisers, we may disable it in order to protect our advertisers' interests.
