    In a small tank they'd outgrow it and get deformed. With enough room, they'll get up to 16 inches or so. I think mine is about 13".

    He's awesome, I love reptiles!
    I had a green iguana once... when I was 13 or so.
    But only for a day cause my mom didnt like him and made me take him back :(
