I thought it would be cool to post your average MPG for city/highway and each vehicle you own. Here are mine:

    1979 Corvette - City 10MPG - Hiway 15MPG
    1998 Olds Intrigue - City 12MPG (includes trailering Bike/Boat) - Hiway 25MPG
    2005 Pontiac G6 - City 25MPG - Hiway 32MPG
    2002 V-ROD - City/Hiway 44-45MPG
    2004 Olds Bravada - City 16MPG - Hiway 18MPG
    2007 Mongoose - City/Hiway,450 Cal/hr

The difficulty with my commute is that it is so short that I burn more fuel starting the car/bike up than I do driving them.... I really need an electric car for my daily commute... Anyone know of anything that would fit the bill?

My commute is 1 mile to Y/Work, then 1 mile to kids school - 1 mile back to work - 1 mile home. So I start the car up 4 times/day and drive it 4 times a day, about 4 miles a day... Not good on the vehicle, and horrible fuel wise...

Kinda sad when you consider the newer Vettes have more horsepower and get over 32MPG hiway.. THe Gallardo sure does look sweet though. Before I put my bike away last winter I was next to one for a few miles.. Sweet looking ride!

    Rich man.

But, I would love see pictures of that car driving on the road somewhere. It's a really sweet car.

    EDIT

    Nevermind, I found them here.

Since I commute 30 seconds from my bedroom to my office I get 1 million miles a gallon. But when I drive my 2007 escalade I get a puny mpg, but the cost of gasoline dont effect me.

I have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade, it gets 15 mpg, a 1987 ford escort that gets 30+ mph. OH! and to topic starter, you spelt "highway" incorrectly. You said "hiway". Just looking out.
