Google+ a new offering from Google to have their product in social networking. I know most of you have not received the invite still and some have. Today I got the invite from a DP member. I used it for sometime. Wanted to write about it. All you guys, feel free to write here about your first impressions on Google+
I was very much excited to use it. When I got the invite, went and created my account. Updated my profile, posted my first share. All in all, found it similar to Facebook. - the home screen looks very similar to Facebook, except that it has less things to show and less cluttered. I liked it. - there is a link called hangout, where in you can have video conf chat with your friends. this is something missing in facebook. a plus for Google+ - Integrated with other Google services. Yet to try it out. - Sparks, no idea what it is, will try it out. All in all, my feeling is that it is a good start by google. let us see how it fares. By the way, i donno how to send the invites, or infact whether I am eligible to send, donno. Will keep you posted.
It's really nice to hear about Google+ from you. I hope I will get invite soon and also can post here... If anyone know how can I get invite or if they can send me Invite then please PM me details to contact. I also want o enjoy Google+
If it only affects people's friends, then it's useless. If it affects global SERPs, then people will just hire other people to +1 their website, and it'll be useless. All in all, we'll have to wait and see, but I don't see how it'll pass Facebook, although I would like to see it happen. I've always loved Google.
Similar to Facebook, however, it will take some getting use to. It will be interesting if Facebook starts rolling out tons of features to beat Google.
Neutral for me..Search Engine and Social Media search are two different things. But it'll be interesting to see how these two play out in a few years from now.

I am getting the message that they have stopped the email invite now and will soon be opening it again, that is the message I am getting. Will send invites as soon as i get it.
Google plus has stopped new registrations even if you have invite. Seems they have gone over capacity for the trial.
Seems Google+ has already its first major privacy complaint. Read of reports circulating of a bug that lets users “reshare†any content with anyone else, no matter which supposedly-private Circle they happen to belong to. If you have posted a photo on your friends circle, a friend of yours can share it to anybody. Since am not able to invite people, will have to check it out for myself to what extent this issue affects privacy. Since its still not officially launched, we can be sure that they will fix it before it becomes open to the public.
The restricted invite game that google has been playing worked first with Gmail. It got huge publicity. But the later trials with google wave and others did not seem to have done any good. All have fallen off the roof. As far as google plus is concerned, I guess we have to wait and see. It is already critisized by first time lookers to be very much similar to facebook in appearance. Also, a fun fact... Lately, google page rank has made Google to go behind facebook. i agree with @boscharun, here most of the things like sharing, the home screen, even the options that we have and the way when we put a link while sharing, the we get the actual page from that link, all these are similar... only part here is the circles, though its not much of a different than the groups concept, the way we add and create, its some what neat, i mean UI. Sparks and Hangout seems to be something that we don't have in facebook. But, at the same time, facebook has too many things that is yet to come in google+
While it is still new and not many have access to it, people are speaking about Google+ overtaking Facebook and so on. I don't say that beating Facebook is impossible, but will not also say that just by launching a service with features similar to Facebook can beat it though. You need to get something better and also be good in marketing it.
