Well I tested it on a website that had no otehr human traffic besides myself, using only FF. And the Alexa number just went down, and down... You can do a similar test yourself.. For documented evidence you must contact developer, I have no time or interest to do this. You are so funny.... Can you find me the documentation and/or information that proves i am the more dishonest LOL, Otherwise I'm going to have to add you to the '99% of all facts are made up on the spot'
After being online for around 2 weeks, my directory has gone up to: 84,097 in 1 week average. I wish it could be better.
It --has been QUITE during last few days. After reading few of previous posts -I can smell that this thread has the potential to provide some fireworks and entertainment. where is an0nnnnnnnnnnnnn --you have some answering to do mate.
how much value does Alexa have for traffic seeing that it gets its stats only from users that have their toolbar installed?
Stupid is as stupid does. Sometimes it's just a waste and not even deserving of a response, especially when I provided a link to my own tool that can extract the alexa without ever having to goto alexa, proving my point. *sigh* ... just a waste.
I believe that Jeff's Aviva Directory has the best Alexa rating of any of the directories (7,837). Congrats, Jeff! With the blog, templates, and strongest directories page, he is rocking it. Big Web Links Directory is new, but growing rapidly. It weighs in at 59,657 currently. Alive Directory is 16,012 at present.
Rob --can you please let me know why you call him STUPID/FOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL? Lol --he might SUE you for DEFAMATION
The first one is located here: http://www.webwideindex.com/fetchalexa.php But i just added it to the other tool today over here: http://www.directorydump.com/bls.php none of them make you visit alexa, and that was my whole point. if you don't visit then you don't skew alexa. which our 99% guy failed to comprehend.
