    It's Gotta Be Red

Site selling only red stuff! (actually, if you start digging you get other color stuff too :) )

The template stinks currently, but have been more concerned with functionality. Almost all done using existing scripts and CMS - just a little bit of hacking of the code here and there.

Pure, i really like the design of the smart shop. One thing I would like to know, do you have the ability to define the whole site including its categories and menus. It seems that every store you have is the same, all as a mall function selling everything, so for instance a site related to skateboarding is selling tools and garden equipment. It just does not make sense, nor as a visitor do i feel it adds any trust or preference to buy from your store.

I see that if your scripts could be refined to provide only products related to a niche subject then it could become a very powerfull tool. It is by far the cleanest and advanced script i have seen. But for now I will stick with AOM which is serving me well.

    Cheers mate.

Absolutely. When I post a site here, it's generally still under development, but if you revisit one or two that I've posted here that are actually complete, you'll see that their content and menu reflect just a particular niche. Here are a two examples of that:

    www.glamorousbeautysupply.com
    www.insideandouthomedecor.com

We were changing the menu's manually so when I posted the sites here, a lot of the times we just didn't have time to hit up the menus, but now with a new menu editor in the control panel, you'll start to see more and more sites just totally focused on smaller niches. But yeah, the ability for the sites to have custom content and niche focus has always been there.

    Thanks,
    PuReWebDev

Impressive, PuReWebDev! Do you think all those niches are worth the time investment? Is it something you feel will give returns over a longer period, or that a few days invested in a site like this one will pay for itself relatively quickly? Aren't we all niched out by now?!
