Hi, I have a wordpress blog and it shows full posts on the home page which slows the loading considerably. I want to know how to shorten the post so that it views only some text about the post, then there is a read more option which we click, then it takes to the full post. Please I need help. Regards
wordpress can do that for you with use of the Excerpt http://codex.wordpress.org/Excerpt you may need no modify your theme tho there are many free themes that use this wordpress feature Good luck
