HEY GUYS! Since Google is cracking down on unnatural backlinks, especially those with the same anchor text, I wanted to ask you guys what methods you are using for generating and encouraging natural and natural-ish backlinks? There seems to be a lot of gigs on Fiverr where people are just spamming blogs or placing links on sites that already have hundreds of links. Has anyone had any luck finding penguin-proof rank-improving gigs on Fiverr? Thanks in advance for any help!
Yes, that is true. Many are posting on blogs and websites and spamming it and destroying its reputation just for backlinks. The concept of backlinks is different and its not about spamming other websites. Try building backlinks from reputed websites, not just for the sake of links, try adding value to those websites. This way you can get backlinks and also the reputation of the website is maintained.
I have had great results doing backlinking from fiverr. But the number one thing is to have a convo with the gig owner to see if they are up to date with google and most of the time you can tell through their title.
I would not suggest using any Fiverr gigs to promote a site that you actually care about. These people are convincing you that the methods they are using are safe and that the recent updates by Google will not affect your site, etc. But these are simply people who want $5 from you. If you give them a bad rating, it doesn't affect their online credibility at all because in Fiverr, you can simply delete your account and create a new one (and then do the same thing again). If you want natural backlinks, create great and useful content on your website so that people will genuinely want to share it with their friends, and other websites will refer to your site. That's just the best way to do it.
I think the safest way of using fiver at the moment is just to have the URL as the anchor. So far my sites with just URL anchor links ranks very well post penguin.
Website will go up with these backlinks Just change the anchor text and description text often. Build links from different domains and different kinds of websites.
