Earlier on I posted about a strange google re-direct appearing in my stats.
The obvious place to post this was in the google forum, as it was a redirect
direct from google, using a google IP number.
It was something I had never seen before and wanted to know if anyone else had ever seen it.

I have just received an infraction warning saying "thread started in wrong category" and the post as now been moved to a completly irrelevant place.
I want to find out more about this, and the best way would be if the post stays in the google forum. Can we ask moderators to double check things and put posts back where they belong?

Only if I can ask members to double check before they post things in the wrong forum;)

    The Google forum description:

    Google
THE search engine. This is for discussion about Google as a company, not for discussion of individual sites (SEO, PageRank for a site or "why a site ranks where it does" questions) or Google search results.

OK, I will ask here then.
Why are Google (google employees) setting up strange re-directs to sites
and has anyone seen these strange kind of google re-directs before?
