Post Footer In Blogger Doesn't Change Appearance

Guys, how do you make a post footer's text to be bold in blogger? I used both the <b> and the <strong> commands with their closing tags </> at the end, but still, the text I chose as the post footer doesn't show bold... is it assumed bold that way?

There must be another CSS rule preventing to get your footer bolded.
