Post category archive page & cornerstone page ranking questions

    Hi Everyone,

    We are trying to restructure our site, and have a question that needs your suggestions and insights.

    we have 8 cornerstone pages that are on our top navigation, and 8 post categories are displayed on the sidebar using category widget.

    Since cornerstone page and post category archive both contain similar keywords that we are trying to rank for. How can we tell the search engine to rank our cornerstone page, instead of the post category archive page?

    Also, is there a way to pass link juice from post category archive page to cornerstone page?

    Since they are cornerstone pages so my guess is they will rank anyway. So, focus on building links to your category pages and their SEO.
