Please pay attention to what I am asking. I am NOT asking you to post YOUR favorite song, but one that you believe is liked by almost everyone. Example: I have yet to meet one person who doesn't like this song whenever I decide to play it. On a sidenote: 1) I cannot believe Mick didn't get his teeth fixed before this shoot. 2) This video is amazingly cheap.
Just proves not everyone has the same taste in music... I didn't like that song at all. But this is one I think everyone likes... you'll probably hate it.
I'd never heard his or yours before, but I like the one you posted about 1000x more than the one he posted. I liked yours - it has a nice mellow vibe. I have eclectic tastes in music but have got myself in a rut where I am not really listening to much new music and pretty much listening to what I already know or have. Need to get out of that.
Okay, so you want what I think everyone likes? People like a lot of crap. I will post some for you that I think everyone *should* like though.
Jimi rules. He's timeless. Now I know why you haven't heard mine or Shawn's song. You're stuck in the 60s.
I tried to go back and watch Blogmaster's one in first post again, and I can't even make myself get through it all. About the time you see his fucked up tooth, I have to close it. haha It reminds me of old Michael Bolton before he got awesome. Speaking of... best Michael Bolton song ever:
So I thought I'd check my iTunes to see what my top 3 most played songs are... #1 (Crystal Method - Trip Like I Do): #2 (Thievery Corporation - Lebanese Blonde)... posted earlier in thread. #3 (Thievery Corporation - Un Simple Historie): I think Thievery Corporation has been hands down by favorite band for the last 12 or so years. They are just too good and have such a wide variety of sounds, it's tough to get tired of them.
Some stuff that is more "rappish"... If you don't like them, you don't know what's good. haha They are really awesome live too.
Not totally suck ... but they made some good music back then. newer, but still old ... I don't hate Simply Red or anything, I some of their older jams are okay (they remind me of high school)
That video must have cost around 2,000 USD to make. Tops. Still, it hit number 1 worldwide, so what do we know ... I missed when that happened. I like this one though:
Weird... I never even heard of the dude... {shrug} Not that I'm really that up on pop culture or anything. haha He got awesome when he did the video I posted above... then he went back to sucking. haha
Yeah, I just watched it. Is pretty cool. Because it's not his usual style at all. For those of you who are open to something more classical, I have recently watched the movie "Legend of 1900" which I absolutely loved. It's a perfect flick for a date. Most of the music is composed by Ennio Moriccone, who composed the scores for Spaghetti Westerns in the 60s and is still going strong in his 80s (Recently providing a song for Django Unchained). Here are a couple of songs from the movie: If you think it's lame ... listen again. You will like it the third time. No matter how hard you try to fight it.
