Possibly the worst Xmas so far...

My girlfriend broke up with me yesterday on Christmas eve, just before I had to go to work. I had to pretend I was happy at work cause people don't even know me there as it's my second shift and I don't want to create an impression of a grumpy f$£ker.
Then I was put on glass collecting and washing at work (I work in a bar), so I get £0 in tips, everyone else surpasses £50 in tips, most someone got was £200 odd (he was the doorman though, think people were just giving him money to get in), the most a bar person got was £80.

I got home about 5AM, I'm working in 3 hours again at 4PM till 9PM.

Overall not a great Christmas.
Could have been worse, i'm glad it's not.

Anyway hope it's not as bad for everyone else.

Awww, that's too bad. Your girlfriend could have at least postponed the breakup or something..

 

Meh, i'd rather she did it then than postponed it. I wouldn't have wanted her to stay in the relationship when she doesn't want to.

 

I'll join your club dude, i'm having my worse christmas ever, although for other reasons.

 

My Christmas is going along nicely - cept that I just learned that one of my 42 year old internet buddies passed away a few days ago, just before Christmas - so just think... there are people out there with shit going on much worse than yours!

Gotta say it though - your day does sound pretty sucky! Hope things pick up for ya!

 

Count me in... i just found out a few days back, my girlfriend was cheating on me with 2 guys.

 

Now that is just HORRIBLE! Poor you...

 

I'm sorry to hear i'm not the only one.

I know a lot of people have it much worse than me. People in poorer communities (or countries) are having it much worse than me every day of their lives, I feel for them. I don't like making a big deal about when something bad happens to me as I know loads more people have it much worse.

Ouch. I know how you feel... It pisses me off whenever I think about it.

 

I'm having exams tomorrow. And it is difficult not to fail engineering exams with only 1 day of preparation
