Possible to make a few thousand in a few months?

I have this new computer that I'm still paying off. But I am tired of paying monthly, I just want to get it over. Is there a way to make like $2000 in like a few months.

I am a realist so I know this is not gonna happen overnight and it will take hard work. I have done some freelance writing but that just wont do cut it. I also got some websites with adsense that make $2 a day.

If I do a good amount of freelance writing I probably make like $25 a day on top of my $2 a day from adsense. Now I know that makes like $800 a month, but I can't keep writing constantly like that. I get burnt out to fast and I turn to hate it.

So do you guys have any other suggestions. I was thinking like paid surveys? I've already sold many things on ebay and I don't got anymore. So please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't start doing paid surveys, if you was to do that you'd make less than what you would wirting a couple of articles a day.

Can you build websites, if so build some and flip them, can bring in anything from $50 upwards per site depending on quality.

Also if you have sites with good traffic maybe look for an affiliate program and add a few banners on your sites, see if they make you anything.

As you say making money won't happen overnight, but it is possible to make a few thousand in a few months :)

Yeah I heard about flipping websites. But I'm not very good. Like I've made websites for myself to try and bring in more revenue. and when I sell them people only want like $10 for them. Whats a good way to flip a website?

I'm also interested in this; What would be an example of a prime starter site to sell a new webmaster, or an experienced one? Should it be complete? Have room to grow? Is there a market for standards complient HTML or is everyone horny for blogs now?

Flipping websites is a decent way to make cash if you know what your doing. If you have any skills in writing/design/programming that will pay the best though. On a somewhat unrelated note never pay for a computer on a month to month basis. If you can't afford it now wait until you can, interest will kill you.

If you need cash quickly, I suggest selling stuff on eBay. It works. The key is what do you sell?

There's a website called Terapeak.com. You can get about twenty searches for free to help you decide what to sell, how long to put it on auction, for the suggested price. If you've got 40% sell-through rate or higher, you're going to make money.

The one bad thing about ebay is that as new seller, PayPal can put your money on hold for 21 days depending on the item you sell, depending on how low your rating is. You'll have to ensure your customers provide you positive feedback.

If you've been freelancing for $2 a day, it's probably time for you to be making more money than that. Check out Angela Booth's website on how to making at least $1000s per assignment. I saw on elance.com and guru.net people willing to pay $900 - $9000 for assignments.

If you've been blogging for the past 30 days, perhaps you can submit to pay per post and get paid to review products.

There's a lady called Angela Booth from Australia. Google her. She's been teaching writing for years to include freelance writing. I don't think she's let you settle for $2/day. You need to be making more.

Better ye, publish your own stuff for with a free account via Lulu.com.

I agree about forgoing the paid surveys stuff. I tried that once. To fill out one survey, you have to get around 20 others.

Waste of time in my opinion.

You have a very nice-looking blog, but I would probably add more adsense adds ALL the way down the site or intersperse them between posts. To be honest, I'll spend more time looking at oyur post than at the adsense ads.

Did you submit your site to pingoat and technorati?

I would suggest not to start with paid surveys, as you can do better things. Like for one, continue with your writing work. Try to establish yourself in that field. If you have /or can develop other skills like flash, coding then you can make more with freelance work. As for your $2/day Adsense site, try to contact advertisers related to your niche and sell some ad space to make more.

My first suggestion would be a real job unless you've already got one and after expenses there's nothing left hence you're looking for an online solution.

Try site flipping, just make some simple designs, add a CMS and maybe write a few articles then sell on some forums, you could sell with a domain (site flipping) or sell without as a pre-made site

Augra, he's already mentioned ebay in the OP

If you're still looking for an idea PM me. I promise you ? won't charge you anything. I'm working on creating an ebook that absolutey anyone could make money with. However my ideas will definitely work but they will be somewhat time intensive.
