Possible to make $10/day with google?

Yes that's what I'm asking. I'm sorry.

Basically I'm looking to see if you guys think it would be possible to make $10/day with my forum alone. I also have google ads in each post so it gets a little more relevant ads.

I guess the second one is right. But I don't think traffic is high enough.

 

CTR on forums is typically pretty dismal, but your implementation has been proven a solid way of keeping that CTR not-so-depressing.

I love content sites. I have never been able to make any money with forums.

Even with Shawn's absolutely monumental traffic (top 1000 alexa, I think), this site's forum only generates a triple digit figure a month, or that was his insinuation a few months ago.

My site gets 908 unique visitors/day For this month

 

You have the forum and have put the adsense ads on it. So you should know whether you make $10 a day from it, if I understand you correctly.

 

Forums are definitely not money makers.

The Fort Liberty Forum makes $1.67 a day.

The forum is advertised heavily on the web site -- and the web site receives about six thousand unique visitors a day.

Of course, if your goal is only $10/day -- it may very well be possible.

 

I doubt it.

PR3 forum here almost 1500 registered users and average 60 posts per day, ads after first post but only to guests, made $7 so far this month. I tried turning the ads on for members, but after the first day they stopped clicking them.

I'm guessing the only reason they did in the first place was because they didn't know what it was. I think it's gonna have to be a large forum with lots of new people comming in constantly to reach $10/day.

 

My average so far is $0.66/day but since I've changed somethings the last couple of weeks I've been averaging $3.50+/day

 

By the way, how many visitors/impressions does it take, on average, to reach $10/day?

 

From the way My forum is going I'm thinking close to 3,000 unique and I could do it. Not too sure on those numbers though

 

No I know that. I'm averaging .66 through out the whole time last 2 weeks average is at $3.50+ I'm asking for suggestions and if it is possible to make that with a forum being that forums don't make alot on the regular basis.

 

Mind to share what have you changed?

 

I've changed the following:

*The Google Ads from 468 to the big billboard.
*I've Added The Google Text Links in the Post
*Added The Google Ad (468x60) In the post also.

That's all that I have changed for now and trying to see how that works out for a while and then it's back to the drawing board.

Yes it is possible.

Please intergrade google adsense with forum colors and don't put it all the way up, but within your forum.

Get more returning traffic as well.
