    Hello

I have a dispute with a member on this forum. They purchased my ebook by hacking into someone elses paypal and making a fraudulent payment. Would it be possible to provide me woth their email address so that I can pursue them via paypal?

    Thanks

Yes, but you would need to send us a subpoena for the information. Just like we don't give out your email address to any random person who asks.

    Code (markup):
And there's me thinking that DP doesn't get involved.

I know what it means "subpoena" BUT BUT BUT unless someone gives or can give such a request its pretty pointless suggesting it.

EDIT: Would this be the NEW DP like it or...

"unless someone already knows what to do, it is pointless to suggest something to do"

I do not understand your logic.

The admin was telling the OP the circumstances under which his request could be granted, and it is a possible (albeit up to the OP to decide its viability - and up to the other member to decide to change their email or not) solution to their problem.

If it was ordered in such a way why would it bother you unless you planned on dodgy activities? (It's not like some sort of email harvesting bull)

I don't want my email address given out either but if DP is ordered to do so in such a way coz I did some dodgy shit then that would be tough shit on my part and my own fault for being a twat then isn't it?

Would it be possible for DP to confirm whether an email address I have obtained is the same as that which this member is registered for i.e. just a yes or no answer?

If so who can I email the address to so they can check it for me?

    Thanks

Some crazy fool gave me bad rep for stating my last post, not realising obviously it is the law and not my personal opinion.
