Hi guys, I was thinking. Is it possible to copy the whole of the seller pitch page, put it in my server and make it my landing page. But can I change the payment link to make it capture my affiliate ID? Thank you
If you meant that you are looking forward to copy the vendor sale page to make it looks like your landing page, I don't think all vendors would agree to that and I would not recommend you to do so. Landing page is not that difficult, you only have to make it simple and educative . In a landing page you should : -put a pic of the product on the page -tell the buyers what they will get or learn from the product -show them why this product is the one that they should buy - offer them some bonuses -and if you want to, you can tell them about the 8 weeks money back guarantee Keep it simple, don't need to copy the vendor site. If you were a buyer would you be happy to go over two different pages that look exactly the same. PS :Or if the vendor provides you with a landing page in the affiliate section, just use it.
Cover Links does this. It copies it completely onto your server and still puts your affiliate cookie in it. Therefore the buy now links goes directly to the clickbank buy product page with your affiliate id attached.
I know some vendors will get super pissed if you do this due to the 'duplicate content' penalty, especially if they are ranking well in the search engines and you might get a few nasty threatening letters from the vendors, then again some will not mind. I suggest you just contact the vendor and ask if it's alright.
What is this Cover links thing? Thank you for the rest that made some suggestions. Appreciated. I am just worried that if I were to do up a landing page, it takes 2 clicks before they reach the BUY NOW button. Won't that cause a even lower conversion ratio? Google Ad words -> 1000 impression 100 clicks --> Landing page --> 100 clicks 20 click to the merchant landing page --> Merchant landing page 20 clicks 1 conversion !!!!
