Possible scam alert !! Rapidshare.com premium users beware.

the PM says it all..
he simply PMed me with a link which had his site name and his ip details...

wow tried his best to trick me

if anyone has got a similar PM, do not click on the link he has asked you to click ....
i hav never asked him any thing about the matter ever before ....

He is not jst anothr user. He is 1 of them who is involved in this Hacking othr accnt Method.

yes. it is a hacking trick.
as soon as you click on the link , your rapidshare premium cookies are transferred to his ip address/website/ PC .
and he can get access to your premium account.

Its not like ur cookies get transfrd to his site. Its the login & pass screen u c thr in that thread. If u evr bymistake fill ur login name & pass thr u gonna regret for that.

 

You should report this to a mod so they can handle the members.

People like these bring shame to the FORUM.

They cant even spend like 5$ to get a RS accnt & they feel people r fool enough to fall into that sort of trap.

It's a XSS hole. If it works like the thread author told then it will send your RapidShare premium details to this guys server. However, YOUR PAYPAL AND OTHER SITES' COOKIES ARE SAFE. A site can not grab other site's cookies. That's it.

 

best way to be safe : do not click on strange links, just for the sake of clicking espcecially dont click on any links sent to you by any strangers..
