Possible sale of popular warez forum (PR6, 5,000 + members)

A popular warez website is possibly for sale. I am selling this for a friend of mine who wants to see what kind of offers he can get out of it. The forum had about 5,000 members, and about 140,000 posts. Its a PR6 with an Alexa of 38,443. It has over 2 million backlinks. It didnt have any ad's, but it offers a premium membership for ($12 - 6 months) and ($24 - year). The owner made over $800 in the sites 5 month life just from subscriptions. He also recieved over $150 in donations from the members.

None of the files where hosted on the site itself. Only links. The forum was growing at about 1,000 members per month. It recently closed its doors due to hosting problems less than a week ago, therefore the site is not up and you cant actually see the site. However if you are a serious buyer you will be granted access to the site for a preview of what you get. Just PM me if your seriously interested. It used a legit IPB license.

what kind of hosting problems are you having with it?

judging on your ther forums in your sig you have no problems hosting a forum or two, is it a legal issue?

i am interested but dont want to deal with legal or member issues.

It was gaining 1000 members a month. All the members were extremely loyal because there were great members who posted great content. Most of the ex-members want the site back and if someone were to set it up again they would all be there again. Site has been down for about a week.

As for the hosting problems, one company kept complaining of the content on the site. There were no legal issues but the owner just got fed up with all the complaints. Current bid $1,100 no offers lower than that please! And if you want to see it, make sure you PM with the offer and request to see it.

I am sorry to hear of your troubles. However i cant pm you an offer if i dont get to look at the site...

At the minute very little you have told me has made me think that this site is worth even your minimal bid price... However if i get a peak at the site and the stats i will surely show my intent with a bid...

I dont know about others here but i wont be doing any phantom bids my bid will be open and honest...
