POSSIBLE sale of my best sites -->

I am CONSIDERING selling my best sites:

They are a set of three sites I've had for several years.

They have consistently made money each month since 2001.

I would rather not list the URLs right now...
just getting an idea of interest and possible price range.

PR 5 - A Lesbian Adult Toy Store with EXCELLENT domain
Has made money monthly since 2001.
Have made between $7,500 - $30,000 a year based on current SE rankings.
Currently making closer to $7,500 - $10,000 a year.
Has made over $100,000 since inception.

PR 4 - a Lesbian Personals site
3,291 members
Has made over $12,000 since 2003.
Has made $4,603.97 this past year.

PR 5 - a Lesbian web directory and community
Online since 2001
First page Google rank for EXCELLENT keyword.
I link to the other two sites from here.
Around 2,5000 posts.

I won't sell these for a year's profit... because they have been established for several years and have been profitable the whole time.

However, I will consider selling them if it allows me to take 1-2 years off my other job to dedicate my time to online ventures.

Any thoughts on value? Anyone have a SERIOUS interest in the sites?

 

Few questions...

1. Why did the revenue go down on the ecommerce site?
2. When you said "you made" is that a gross profit or revenue number?
3. Are you doing your own fulfilment?
4. The personals site, do you charge monthly fees, is that the revenue source?
5. Is everyone a paying member or are some free members?

Just a few questions to just try and get a better understanding of your businesses.

1. My revenue was highest before the Google "Florida" update for those that remember that. I still have good ranking for several keywords... but not as many as before that update.

2. I generally pay $100 a month to advertise on Adwords. This is divided between advertising the toy site and the personals site. However most of my visitors to my sites come from type-ins or return visitors.

3. No, I do not do my own fulfillment of order processing. I built a site that works as an affiliate of a popular adult toy merchant. I also used to own the site RabbitVibrators.com, but sold that site a few months ago. The revenue from that site is not included in the figures I listed.

4. The personals site is a TangoWire affiliate. I make 55% of all initial and repeat memberships on the site. Checks sent every two weeks. I made just over $500 this month. No cost as they host the site for free.

5. TangoWire uses a shared database of users. However, all 3.291 members I mentioned are signed up under my site directly.

I strongly recommend posting this at Sitepoint there too, people seem to have alot more money to play with there and you'll get a good bidding system going rather than just taking the first offer you get.
