Possible Clickbank SCAM Kind of (RIP off at least)

I'm promoting a Clickbank product that I'm making a few sales on here and there, they have a related product that is also sold through CB, but on a different publisher account (from the same website though).

This means if you go to the site with a hop link for product 1 and buy product 2 no sale registered. Likewise go via a hop to product 2 and buy product 1 no referral registered.

Would you consider this a SCAM of sorts? If you do will CB do something about it?

The publisher actually has three products, 2 are almost the same product, but minor difference and these are on the same account, then a third product in the same niche (same traffic will convert, I'm promoting all three from one page) that's on a separate publisher account.

I think this sucks because I can see me loosing money if a visitor buys the wrong product!

I wouldn't call it scam... but maybe you should point that out to the publisher since it does suck for the affiliates...

I would call it a scam: you drive traffic for him, you keep in mind"ok, 50 hops - 1 sale". Right now, you have to think "150 hops - 1 sale".

Now did he told you about this? Bet not! So i would call it a scam.

Report to CB, report to publisher, put his name out, and let him go nuts without affiliates. I bet as soon as affiliates start to notice this bad news, they'll jump out of the boat.

He needs to change that, otherwise, bad news for him. What's the publisher?
