Check this out: - I heard of a vB hack (not sure if it's just vB) that allows the admin to see the password that the forum account was signed up with. Assuming someone from here takes on a forum posting gig - even a small one like 10 posts, and this hack is installed...that password is accessable by the forum owner (doesn't take long to scrape together an empty forum). Now, if the person who was doing the job uses the same password for everything, then he can easily access all your valuables online. Agreed? I know you should always have different passwords, but is this a possible risk?
I have heard about this. That is why I keep my paypal password unique from all my other passwords. Just in case.
I use the same password on everything except: - I throw in numbers in my e-mail passwords and money passwords - Forums usually require at least 1 number so I usually have "word1" or "word123" Please don't flame me, I am just showing the risks that there are. I would not go and work as a forum poster at the rates that is paid now...
There isn't a vBulletin hack that does this. You can log into member's account if you're an admin, but nothin more. It doesn't allow you to see passwords.

Exactly , you can change them But not see them. Vb passwords, like most scripts these days are MD5 or better
Hmm, maybe you guys are right...that thread I posted a link to is over 7 years old haha! A big loser from school owns a gamer forum and he said he has it set up so he can view the users passwords. With technology, anything is possible thought right?
