I grew up an alcoholic family(Beer) and was never taught about jesus from my family members but i did go to church at times but not all the time. Since from a early age i had always Conscious Felt close to God. Spiritually I always know in my heart that he's there for those who ask him to open the door and come into their lives. I feel that God is a part of everybody and with that said its the Greatest Gift anyone could have is to be aware of his existence--if you pray everyday and just keep asking for his Greatest Gift--I promise you will know without a doubt of his existence
In response to the thread-opening question, "Who is Jesus for you? — • The Son of God • The One who died on the cross, shedding His blood for the forgiveness of my sins and those of the world • The One who rose from the dead on the third day • The Savior of all who will come to Him in faith for forgiveness I've written a more extensive study entitled Jesus Christ: Who Is He? for those who might be wanting to look further into the question that opened this thread.

Jesus is my savior and my defender. He died for our sins because God (his and our father) wanted to show us that he can sacrifice his own son in order to redeem us from sins. Jesus is my lord and I trust in him. He will return one day to exalt his true followers above all other human beings.
