After reading through this forum, I've installed WordPress and also installed Kubrick, then did a research about WordPress SEO, and come up with the idea of converting to MovableType before I start. Has anybody been using MovableType 3.14? if so would you recommend it and can you please give some details about your opinions.
    THanks in advance

I've heard great things about MovableType. I can't speak on the very latest version. The earilier versions were always pretty good.

I am sure someone else who actually uses it can comment

thank you both for your replies. reallybites can you explain how this static/dynamic thing works? I've read it on several occasions. Since it's cgi-perl based, does it rebuild everything after each post?
also do you know any good template (also css) resources for MT?
and about SEO, do you think MT is the right choic? (I know it also highly depends on the customization of the templates but, generally asking).
    thanks

wokay.to be honest,i use MT for personal blogging.meaning,i dont really care about the SEO and stuff.i only post and click save.thats all.

so i cant answer ur questions on the rebuilding thingi and the static/dynamic.ur best bet to find out bout the static/dynamic thing is to look through the FAQ in the MT website.
are you asking bout free templates or the default templates for MT? if your asking bout free templates, you can try googling.you can even use blogskins.for the default ones, refer back to the MT website.

anyways, why dont you post those questions on MT's support forum? http://www.movabletype.org/support/
