If you are just starting out as a newbie, then would you agree that you should be positioning yourself in a trend that is very successful - proven and evergreen?
Yes and no. All those niches already have thousands of people trying to get successful. I personally think only people with a unique set of skills will be able to continue to dominate the market. Proven methods do work, but they are so saturated and competitive that chances on succeeding are diminished by far (compared to what it was like in the late 90's - early 2000's). So... I would go for a unique stuff before I'd go for a proven (successful) one.
Trends are great when they start as a unique idea, but just like quikad.com mentioned they become so saturated very quickly. That's the problem with trends, after 2 months it is everywhere and this makes it so much harder to stand out!
I personally say no, these niches are often extremely saturated and you are competing against the best of the best. I recommend if someone is new to start with less popular niches so the competition level is lower
