Hi guys. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? I have a website promoting xbox 360 repair guides. I am already on position 68 in yahoo for the keywords "xbox repair 3 red lights" and position 86 for "repair 3 red lights". But when I search for this keywords in google my site doesn not even appear in the results :( Nor does for any other relevant keywords. Not even when i search for the exact title of my site. I submitted a sitemap about 2 weeks ago and it has been verified already and google webmaster tools says "Pages from your site are included in Google's index. See Index stats." Yet the only way I can find my website is by searching directly for the url (www.myxboxfix.com).
Anyone has an idea whats wrong? I already sent a request for reconsideration.

There is no need to send a request for reconsideration/reinclusion. Your website has its homepage indexed. So you are not banned or deindexed. You likely just need to build more quality backlinks. You need to give the search engines a reason to trust your website. Google may not particularly like your one page website though, especially with the large number of clickbank links. It would help a lot to build more content pages. You also have to be patient with seo. You can't expect rankings right after launching a website. Why should your website be ranked above the other websites in your niche that have been up for longer and have more/better backlinks?

In my experience - and this isn't definitive - Yahoo seems to like keywords in domains more than Google. So if your main (or some) keywords are in your domain name you have a head start with Yahoo ranking. Also, Yahoo seems to give more weight to incoming low-quality or sitewide links than Google. For these reasons, Yahoo can sometimes be easier to rank well on than Google when doing the usual SEO activities of link-building and implementing good URLs for pages.

Like vansterdam has said, keep building links and you'll rank on Google eventually.

You need to get more backlinks from relevant sites then only you will get rank in Google.

Competition in Google is tough. All you need to do is exert more effort in your linkbuilding activities. Be patient and wait. How long have you been optimizing the site?

I find that what you see in the SERPs for Yahoo is what you can expect from Google in a months time. Yahoo seems to change more quickly and can give you an idea of where you will be in the future. Cheers!
